Double-deck structure introduced in 10-ton trucks to improve loading efficiency

Double-deck structure introduced in 10-ton trucks to improve loading efficiency

Lintec does not have distribution and transportation sections but is a "Designated Shipper" under the Revised Energy Conservation Act in Japan because it consigns the transport of more than 30 million ton-kilometers* annually. As a Designated Shipper, Lintec submits an annual report to the government in accordance with this Act. In fiscal 2018, the volume of transportation increased by 0.8% (775,000 ton-kilometers) from the previous year but CO2 emissions decreased by 0.16% (17 t-CO2). Energy use per unit of transportation improved by about 1.2%.
We will continue to improve our distribution system and transportation loading efficiency, with the goal of reducing environmental impacts.

  • *Ton-kilometers: A unit of cargo transport amounts, computed by multiplying the cargo tonnage by the transportation distance. Transporting 1 ton of cargo over a distance of one kilometer equals one ton-kilometer.
