VOICE My Next Stage

Under a 3Rs* theme, Lintec Advanced Technologies (Taiwan), Inc. conducted activities for the effective utilization of unwanted old clothes. In March 2021, we asked employees to donate their old clothes, and filled 13 cardboard boxes with the donations collected. While offering some of the donated clothes to people in need via a social welfare organization, we asked designers to rework the remainder to transform them into hats, eco-bags, and bottle bags. In May 2021, we sponsored a charity concert organized by the organization and sold the upcycled items at a bazaar held concurrently with the concert, donating the proceeds. Many visitors came to our booth with interest and seemed to realize that even unwanted items could be recycled as useful resources if reworked and given a new life. We will proactively promote initiatives for the development of a sustainable society through cooperation with people in and outside of our company.

Dialogue with Local residents

Offering our emergency food stocks and Christmas gifts at food distribution events organized by Itabashi City

Lintec provided cooperation for food distribution events organized by Tokyo's Itabashi City and Itabashi Council of Social Welfare. The events were held to distribute food to single-parent households and elderly households in need of support due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In June and September 2021, we provided canned food and retort pouch food taken from our emergency food stocks. In December 2021, we offered gift cards for fried chicken as Christmas gifts, in addition to emergency food stocks, to around 200 appreciative households. We will continue to cooperate for food distribution events.
Although the annual events in which we invite people with disabilities to attend a professional baseball game and the Fureai Concert were cancelled in fiscal 2021 for the second consecutive year, we will continue to proactively carry out activities that help people in local communities through cooperation with local governments.
