What are the special properties of these papers?

These papers have a self-extinguishing property that means they simply turn black (carbonize) when ignited. As a result, the flames do not spread easily.

How are these special properties created?

When ignited, the water crystals detach from the aluminum hydroxide compound and absorb the heat, thus creating a self-extinguishing action.

Where and how are these papers used?

LINTEC’s non-flammable papers are often used as wall lining papers, applied beneath decorative wallpapers. They are also used as core materials to create a honeycomb structure inside doors or ceilings. The papers are lightweight but strong. They are a popular choice in buildings where a high level of fire safety is required, such as high-rise and public facilities.
