In the 1960s, we started to manufacture and sell adhesive papers and films, which are cur-rently mainstay businesses for the Company. We subsequently expanded the scope of our adhesive operations to industrial fields, such as automobile-related areas. In 1986, we made a full-scale entry into the field of semiconductor-related products. In these ways, we advanced the globalization of our business.
