    The meeting was planned in cooperation with the Nippon Institute of Technology and LINTEC Corporation in order to provide students studying environmentally conscious manufacturing approaches with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of corporate environmental efforts. It was a truly lively session, characterized particularly by the company's earnest attitude in responding to questions from students.

Lintec utilizes a variety of opportunities to communicate with shareholders and investors, including through shareholder meetings, business results briefings, IR meetings and company information sessions. We also use websites and shareholder correspondence to enhance information communication activities, aiming to help stakeholders deepen their understanding of our corporate activities, thereby achieving appropriate share pricing and building relationships of trust.

In March 2017, we provided Japanese institutional investors with a tour around the Advanced Technology Building belonging to the Research & Development Division. The building was completed in 2015 to house large test coaters similar to factory production facilities and cutting-edge analyzers, among other equipment, aiming to achieve faster and smoother processes from R&D to mass production. Participants took a guided tour around the facilities, mainly viewing the coaters, analyzers, and laboratories, and listened to researchers' presentations on their ongoing advanced technology projects. Through this event, we effectively showcased our strong R&D capabilities as a technology-centered company.

Lintec uses a variety of opportunities to communicate with the mass media?and by extension society?including through the acceptance of requests regarding news coverage and the writing of manuscripts, responding to questionnaires, websites, and news releases. Through this communication, the company aims to disclose information with integrity to society and build relationships of trust.

In addition to distributing news releases on new products and events to various media outlets, the company welcomes requests for interviews as well as articles written by Lintec representatives. In fiscal 2016, the company issued about 20 news releases and granted about 60 requests for interviews and articles.
